Filip al II-lea, Duce de Orléans (n. 2 august 1674, Saint-Cloud, Île-de-France, Franța – d. 2 decembrie 1723, Versailles, Regatul Franței) a fost regent al Franței pentru Ludovic al XV-lea din 1715 până în 1723.

S-a născut la Saint-Cloud, ca fiul lui Filip al Franței, duce de Orléans și al celei de-a doua soții, Charlotte Elisabeth, Prințesă Palatină. A fost nepotul regelui Ludovic al XIV-lea al Franței. În timpul tinereții sale, era numit Filip Charles, Duce de Chartres, pentru a-l diferenția de tatăl său care avea același nume.

Florence Pellerin (fl. 1707), was a French ballet dancer and courtesan. She was the official mistress of Philippe II, Duke of Orléans, who was the regent of France during the minority of the infant King Louis XV. She was the mistress of the duke in 1696–1699.

She was engaged in the ballet of the Paris Opera under the stage name "Mademoiselle Florence". She was described as beautiful but not regarded to be very intelligent or entertaining, and the duke eventually tired of her and left her for Charlotte Desmares.

After, she became the official favorite of Louis II de Rohan-Chabot (1679–1738), son of Louis, Duke of Rohan, who caused a scandal by their open relationship, spending a fortune on her and having several children with her. The scandal caused the King to have her imprisoned in a convent by a lettre de cachet.

Scion of a notable comic actor family, she had an active stage career that spanned three decades, performing with the Comédie-Française from 1699 until her retirement in 1721; she was also remembered as a mistress of Philippe II, Duke of Orléans, Regent of France.

Louise-Charlotte de Foix-Rabat, comtesse de Sabran (1693–1768), was a French aristocrat. She was the official mistress of the Philippe II, Duke of Orléans, who was the regent of France during the minority of the infant King Louis XV.
